The funding provided to this project will enable the borough council to create an ideal habitat in Farnborough, over a three year period, to support and increase the local population of stag beetles.
The project also includes hedge and tree planting and once these are planted local schools will be invited to come along and join up with the ‘bury buckets for beetles project’. The buckets of woodchip and soil are buried next to the loggeries providing ideal laval habitat for breeding.
