If you have read the guidance notes and are unsure whether your project can be funded through the Enriching Nature programme, you can either call us on (01454) 262910 or provide a short summary of your project using the Enriching Nature pre-application project outline, below, and send it to us. We can then advise whether your application is likely to be compliant.
Please note that Guidance Notes and Application Forms are refined from time to time to provide more precise guidance for applicants.
What happens once I submit a funding application?
Once we receive your application we will check it is compliant with the funding rules. Applications that are compliant are then assessed by a member of the SITA Trust team and by a Project Assessment Panel, which has been set up in each English region. The Project Assessment Panel will prioritise applications in their region, although the decision on what projects to support will be made by the SITA Trust Board.
SITA Trust will inform applicants of the outcome of their application within two weeks of the Board meeting (in writing only).
