The future of our Enriching Nature Programme

Wednesday 17 June 2009

SITA Trust's Enriching Nature Programme was launched in 2005 and  provided £13.5million funding over three years for biodiversity conservation projects.

The three year programme was due to come to an end in 2008 but, recognising the enormous demand for biodiversity investment, the SITA Trust Board decided to build on the success of the programme and committed a further £4.5 million of funding for 2009 applications.

The final funding deadline for this programme has now passed.

The Trust hopes to announce its future strategy for funding biodiversity conservation projects in the Autumn of 2009.
