Queen Elizabeth II Fields Fund

A fantastic £1 million fund to revitalise Queen Elizabeth II Fields as part of The Queen Elizabeth II Fields Challenge.

This programme is now closed and we are no longer accepting applications.

2012 marks Her Majesty The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and we want to ensure that it is celebrated in fitting style. The Queen Elizabeth II Fields Challenge is a fantastic campaign to protect 2,012 outdoor recreational spaces in communities all across the country as a permanent living legacy of this great event. SITA Trust  joined forces with HRH The Duke of Cambridge and Fields in Trust to support this challenge.

We allocated a million pounds to be offered to designated Queen Elizabeth II Fields to fund improvements. There were two strands to the fund and applications were accepted until the million pounds was allocated.
