Weald Moor and Baggy Moor sit within the Meres and Mosses - a landscape of national wetland importance. These areas are the largest outcrops of river valley peat, offering the best potential for restoring floodplain grazing marsh, conservation of associated BAP species and carbon conservation through soil protection.
