10/06/2014 12:08: Sandfordhill and Den Dam Pathways Project

SITA Trust recently awarded £20,000 to Boddam and District Community Association to create a completely new path and provide a shorter route from Stirling Hill to the Den Dam. Another path was upgraded as it was almost impossible to walk along it due to the high grass, weeds and underfoot deep mud and water. This provides a further 845 m of paths. The additional paths gives users a choice of a long or shorter walk. Visitors to this area can enjoy wildlife, flora and fauna and spectacular views. Walkers and runners frequent the area and all this is helping us achieve our goal of making Boddam and it's outlying area a holiday attraction.
