Transform
East London’s exciting Transform project, part of the Olympic Legacy Programme, has been rapidly expanded thanks to a funding commitment of £500,000 from SITA Trust and applications are being accepted until July 2012.Transform is a core part of the London 2012 Changing Places programme, an initiative which aims to support communities in the Olympic host boroughs to secure lasting social and environmental benefits as a legacy of the Games. Through Transform Applicants can approach Groundwork London with an idea to regenerate a public green space and Groundwork London will assist in drawing up a full project plan for consideration for funding. SITA Trust monies can be used to provide materials to enable the community group to transform their rundown and underused green and open spaces into thriving community resources.
