Green spaces are precious. We take parks, rivers, beaches and village greens for granted but they’re often more important than we might first think. They give us space to relax, enjoy ourselves and are home to a fascinating range of wildlife.

Where did you fly your first kite, eat your first picnic or take your first swim in the sea? All around us are memorable places which are often neglected and in need of some love and attention.

By taking action to improve a local green space you can preserve them for future generations to enjoy and help ensure that wildlife can continue to survive and flourish.

If you want to make your mark on the environment, GreenPrints will provide you with the support and finances that you'll need to run your own Flagship project. Start by thinking of an idea to improve or create a local green space for people and wildlife. Tell us by completing a stage one application form and if we like it, we’ll allocate you with a Mentor to support you and up to £10,000 to make it happen.
