Have you ever volunteered before? If so, what did you do?
I've volunteered with BTCV in Leeds for nine months and have done loads of stuff. I’ve felled loads of trees, made footpaths, made fences, made willow tunnels, done some dry stone walling, all kinds of stuff!
Why did you decide to take part in this project?
I enjoy the projects that I do with BTCV, so I thought I would enjoy this one too
What did you do on this project?
Some tree felling, scrub clearance, and digging out space for a footpath
What have you enjoyed about taking part in this project?
Cutting down trees – it's well fun!
What have you not enjoyed about taking part in the project?
Nothing
Will you be continuing to volunteer on this project? If so, what will you be doing?
Yes, we’ll be putting in the footpath, creating a nice seating area, and putting in a willow tunnel
