SITA Trust's Board meets to make funding decisions and develop the strategy for the Trust. The Board meets at intervals throughout the year to decide which applications to support through the various funding programmes.
In January 2008 Marek Gordon became Chairman of the Board. Alongside this role, Marek also takes overall responsibility for the day to day running of the Trust. The other Board members are:
- Jane May, who also serves as a non-executive director of OFWAT and joined the SITA Trust Board in 2003
- Jacqui Wheeler, who is M I S Director at SITA UK and joined the Board in Jan 2008
- Paul Jefferiss, who is Head of Environmental Policy at BP, who joined the Board in January 2005
- Liz Carlisle, who runs Ruby Tiger, an independent consultancy, which develops urban and rural regeneration projects and joined the Board in January 2006
